Thomas Kandathil offered the Holy Mass every Sunday. The wall surrounding the church and the improved roads leading to the church are also his valuable contributions. In the 1970s, the cemetery was built by the then Kizhakkambalam Forane Vicar, Fr. Emmanuel Maniankottil. The church after completion of its construction on 26th November, 1972 was named after St. Jude Thaddeus respecting the wishes of the parishioners. Rectory was built when Fr. Joseph Vayalikodath served as the assistant Vicar of the Forane. This rectory was rebuilt during the time of Fr. George Athappilly.
